ORATORIO, NEW WORKS BY FERNANDO RUÍZ LORENZO DEBUTS IN HARLEM
February 22, 2013 (New York, NY) – A historic brownstone in Harlem sets the backdrop for Fernando Ruíz Lorenzo’s latest collection of paintings. On March 2, 2013, Mr. Ruíz Lorenzo debuts a new collection inspired by the Tuthill Gallery, a new gallery in Harlem located in the Mount Morris Park section of Harlem.
The exhibition entitled “Oratorio” is a collection of abstract-textual paintings inspired by the historic renaissance revival brownstone homes in the Mount Morris Park neighborhood. The Tuthill Gallery is located in one such brownstone designed by the one of the city’s foremost architects, William B. Tuthill.
